Armed with an unwavering passion for music and a wealth of encyclopedic knowledge, NickFresh captivates audiences with his exceptional mixing and entertainment skills.

Hailing from Jacksonville, this classically trained musician has built a career that moves just as effortlessly as his sets. As a DJ, producer, and remixer, NickFresh brings a deep musical vocabulary to everything he touches—whether he’s playing Jacksonville Jaguars home games, packing out clubs across the country, soundtracking weddings, spinning roller discos, or showing up for charity events that matter to the community. His work has also extended into professional radio, with appearances and production roles at Clear Channel/iHeart, along with a steady run of festival stages and livestreams.One of the defining moments in his career came in 2011, when he helped induct the iconic Soul Train brand into the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. That milestone traces back to something he started in high school: founding SOULTRAINFANS, which grew into the world’s largest community dedicated to the legendary show. Over the years, it’s reunited former dancers and staff, helped bring vintage episodes back to air through The Best of Soul Train, and contributed to VH1’s Soul Train: The Hippest Trip in America—now one of the network’s highest-rated documentaries. Today, the community spans more than 50,000 members and continues to grow.

Born and raised in North Florida, Nick’s relationship with music started early and never let up. He began studying piano and music theory at four, was already working two turntables by eight, and picked up the trumpet at twelve. By twenty, he’d toured nationally with rock bands while stepping into radio as an on-air personality, voice-over artist, and producer—skills he sharpened through high school and college and still pulls from today.

At every level—clubs, broadcasts, livestreams, or charity-driven events—NickFresh approaches music with the same instinct: honor the history, read the room, and make people move.
